We will chat with our old friend Tim Jackson from the Monterey Jazz Festival, who is retiring this year. Tim has long been my mentor in producing live concerts, and I am eternally thankful for his advice and friendship. After 33 years at the festival, he has no shortage of marvelous memories. We’ll get him to share few.

Liner notes will pay tribute to the Tony Bennett with a wonderful story from Monterey. I’m sure Tim will also weigh in on Tony’s appearance.

Our pal Bert Cutino will give us a buzz to tell us about a marvelous new feature, Sunday nights at the Sardine Factory.

Finally, we will make note of Miss Rachael’s recent birthday. Does anybody know where I can buy  a cake shaped like a cougar? Oh, I’m gonna be in trouble.
